Make it your own

it's simple to change the flavor profile while keeping the ease of this low prep recipe. Give these options a try:

  • Crunchy - add walnuts or pecans for a crunchy apple treat
  • Blueberry Orange - swap to orange Danish rolls and use blueberry pie filling for a citrusy blueberry version; almonds make a great a crunchy add-in with this flavor option
  • Icing upgrade - add a bit of cream cheese, vanilla extract, and milk to the included icing and beat until smooth

Equipment

This easy recipe just needs a 9x13" baking pan, a spoon, and kitchen shears or a knife and cutting board.

Storage and freezing

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

✨ Pro Tip for the Best Texture ✨

Scoop just the fruit out of the pie filling, leaving most of the juices in the can. Too much liquid can affect the texture of the bread portion of the recipe.
