Ingredients
24.8ouncesready-to-bake cinnamon rolls
42ouncesapple pie filling
non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Prepare a 9x13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Open the cinnamon rolls and set the icing packs aside. Cut each cinnamon roll in half.
Place half the cinnamon roll pieces into the prepared baking pan.
Spoon just the apples from one of the cans of apple pie filling over the cinnamon roll pieces in the pan.
Repeat the process with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces and the other can of apple pie filling.
Gently stir everything together just enough to combine the layers.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cinnamon rolls are baked through.
Remove from the oven and drizzle the reserved icing over the top.
Notes
Scoop just the fruit out of the pie filling, leaving most of the juices in the can. Too much liquid can affect the texture of the bread portion of the recipe.
