    ❓ What is scampi?

While scampi often refers to a method of preparing shrimp (especially in the US), it actually is the name of a crustacean itself—a small edible lobster served alone or with melted butter. Because of the easy availability of shrimp, we use that in our scampi.

    ⏲️ Time needed

With little prep and short cooking time, you'll have this dish on the table in 20 minutes.

    🥘 Ingredients

    • butter
    • onion
    • garlic
    • Worcestershire sauce
    • lemon juice
    • Italian seasoning
    • steak sauce
    • hot sauce
    • frozen cooked, peeled, deveined, tail-off shrimp
    • fresh chopped parsley
    • fettuccine

    🌾 Adaptations for dietary restrictions

You can make this dish gluten-free by using GF pasta and making sure your Worcestershire sauce is gluten-free.

    📋 Instructions

In a large skillet, melt the butter and add the onion and garlic and sauté until softened (about 3-4 minutes). Add the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, steak sauce, and hot sauce.

Bring to a boil then add the shrimp, and heat until warmed through. Sprinkle with parsley and serve over fettuccine.
