You might need to change the funding source for your subscriptions in PayPal for a variety of reasons from avoiding eCheck payments (important because if you pay with an eCheck, the system does not grant access to the menus until the eCheck clears) to switching the credit card you want to use for your payments. The following instructions will walk you through the steps to change the funding source whether or not the desired funding source is attached to your PayPal account. If you already have the desired funding source attached to your PayPal account, you can skip to Step 2. If you need to add the desired funding source to PayPal, follow the instructions below and then complete Step 2.
Adding a Funding Source To PayPal
Here is how to add a funding source to your account (this does not automatically change your subscription's funding source - you MUST complete Step 2 also):
Add a Bank Account to your PayPal Account:
PayPal is introducing a new and improved profile to some customers. Until all customers are using the new Profile, there are 2 sets of instructions on how to do this. Please follow the instructions that match what you see on the site.
You can link your bank account to your PayPal account by following these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile at the top of the page.
3. Click Bank Accounts under Financial Information.
4. Click Add Bank and enter your information.
Then just confirm your bank account to complete the process. If you bank online, you can usually do this instantly. If you don’t have online access to your bank account, it’ll take a few days.
OR
You can link your bank account to your PayPal account by following these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
3. Click My money under My Profile.
4. Click Add my bank in the Bank accounts section.
5. Select Checking or Savings account and enter your information.
6. Click Continue.
Then just confirm your bank account to complete the process. If you bank online, you can usually do this instantly. If you don’t have online access to your bank account, it’ll take a few days.

5. Click Add a Card.

7. Click Add Card.
You must confirm your new funding source before you can use it.

5. Click "Change" under "Funding Source."
6. Select an alternate payment method and click "Save."

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Profile" near the top of the page.

4. Click "Update" in the "My preapproved payments" section.
5. Select the merchant whose agreement you want to change under
