    Daily Routines and Reminders

Daily routines are a simple way to keep your life organized. Made popular by Sidetracked Home Executives (affiliate link) and FlyLady, daily routines simply mean that each day, you will spend about 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening doing your daily routine to stay on top of things. Daily tasks are non-routine tasks that need to be completed infrequently but regularly to keep your home clean and organized. Mostly, daily tasks will only take about 15 minutes to complete and you will only complete one task a day. Unlike daily routines, which will vary based on your personal circumstances, the daily tasks are standard tasks that are common to most households.

It doesn't matter where in the cycle you start the daily tasks, since they constantly rotate. At the end of each 5 weeks, you will have spent time organizing and/or cleaning your whole house by spending about 15 minutes a day (not including your weekly house cleaning and daily routine) taking care of these tasks. Each task says that if you haven't decluttered an area, do that first. We focus on decluttering first because it is useless to try to clean until you can actually see the furniture!

I would be willing to pay for an app that I could open on my phone and check off the reminder task each day. I am using Motivated Moms, but your daily reminders were the best for me!

Awww...too bad! These helped me in the past and I came here to sign up again. FlyLady never worked for me.

Never realized how much I would miss your daily chore alerts. They kept me on task. Any chance that you would bring them back?

        Hi Linda,

It's unlikely, but you should check out Fly Lady: http://www.flylady.net/d/getting-started/

She has lots of helpful resources and email reminders (I think she still does the emails).
