Freezer instructions

This spiral pasta recipe with cheese freezes well. Typically I make a 9x12 inch pan for dinner and an extra 8x8 inch pan for the freezer from one batch. If you have a smaller family and prefer to cook in smaller batches, you can probably get 3- 8x8 inch pans out of this recipe instead.

Wrap the pan(s) for the freezer (or place in a freezer-safe airtight container) and label as "Cheesy Spiral Pasta: Thaw overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350ยฐF for 30 minutes or until heated through."

FAQ

What should I serve with Cheesy Spiral Pasta?

This hearty casserole goes will with a green salad and Italian dressing.

What is spiral pasta called?

The most common spiral pastas are rotini (often available in a tri-color variety) and fusilli, but they are sometimes simply called "spirals." I use rotini for this spiral pasta recipe, but you can substitute other varieties.
